Mind irresponsible MTPE services from China

MTPE (machine translation post editing) has been used secretly by Chinese translation agencies and translators for over a dozen years, but this has been under the cover of human translation and what they offer are often unsastifactory results. JINRAY is one of the few Chinese language agencies (probably the only one) who public claims that we provide MTPE services, apart from our human translation services.

Why Chinese MTPE becomes acceptable today?

The only reason why we are open to MTPE and why we offer English-to-Chinese MTPE services today is that machine translation has been truly helpful to many translation projects, especially those with relatively clear and straightforward texts, instead of converting texts in a mechanical way and outputing hard-to-edit translations.

In this way, we could pay more attention to improving translation qualities instead of spending too much time on dealing with mechanical conversion between languages.

Why we are experts in English-Chinese MTPE?

Nevertheless, MTPE work could still be tricky today, and it requires higher sense of responsibility than human translation. That’s why you cannot just randomly find some Chinese translator or translation agency to do such jobs.
